AAll day Workshop at the wonderful refurbished Beeston Library in Nottingham in collaboration with Design Nation www.designnation.co.uk
A day of exploration, experimentation, fun and creativity, you will be invited to explore texture, pattern and form to create small-scale organic sculpture(s), using Sarah's collection of natural objects as a starting point. Techniques learnt will include slabbing, pinching and modelling.
Participants, even those new to ceramics, will learn how to create and use textures, apply additional modelled features and make aesthetic and personal choices. The pieces will be taken away by the artist to be fired, and returned to the library for collection at a later date.
Adults and accompanied 12+

I will be participating in the Crafts Council's national Hey Clay! programme of free workshops up and down the country.
